Personal data

The website and personal data protection

The Office of the Auditor General uses Microsoft Office SharePoint as a publication solution for its website.

The Office of the Auditor General uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service supplied by Google, Inc. ("Google"), as a statistics tool.

Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files the website stores on the user’s computer), which register the users’ IP addresses, and provide us with information about the individual user’s movements online. Examples of what we learn from the statistics are as follows: how many people visit various pages, how long these visits last, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used. None of the cookies allow us to link information about your use of the website to you as an individual. The Office of the Auditor General uses a script (code) that removes the last digits of your IP address before the information is stored by Google. This means that the stored IP address cannot be used to identify the individual user.

You can opt-out of using cookies on your computer by adjusting the necessary settings in your browser. However, be aware that by doing this, you may not be able to use the website’s functionality in its entirety. By using the website, you accept that Google handles information about you in the manner and for the purpose described above.
